Real Taste Wheat Puttu Podi is made from handpicked red rice (chemba rice) to create a wholesome and nutritious version of Kerala's beloved puttu. Known for its earthy flavor and rich nutrients, this flour ensures soft, aromatic puttu with every preparation.
- Method of preparation :
- Wet Real Taste Wheat Puttupodi with required quantity of water and salt.
- Mix for 5 minutes to obtain desired consistency (if softer puttu is desired, keep it aside for 30 minutes).
- Transfer the mix in to puttu maker with coconut gratings alternately.
- Place the maker on a pressure cooker / steaming vessel and steam for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Push out the cakes from the maker to a plate and serve with plantain or curry or chutney or with sugar.
